The 2011/12 Academic Year

How You Can Help Right To Play

The 2010/11 year saw significant growth in Right To Play's outreach to universities, seeing a range of events and activities organised to raise money and awareness for our cause.  2012 will be a hugely important year for Right To Play and students and universities have a huge role to play in making it a success.  It is Right To Play's aim to reach thousands more, to do that we need to engage thousands more students around the UK, and to do that - we need all of your help.  Your time as a student will be life changing  -  How many lives do you want to change?

The best way to reach thousands more children in the developing world is to gain the support of thousands more students here in the UK.  The best way to reach thousands more students is through the approaching season of freshers, sports club, society and volunteering fayres.  If you can help Right To Play secure a stall or place at a fayre at your university please get in touch with us.

This year will see the launch of a brand new campaign focusing on the power of sport and play to create opportunities for positive youth leadership, called In My Future. As young active members of society youth have a voice, an opinion and a role to play in the development and prosperity of their local communities.  They are the future generation of leaders, be it as teachers, retailers, doctors, nurses, football players or lawyers.  If you are interested in finding out more about this campaign and supporting it yourself or promoting it at your university please email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Right To Play has been the official charity partner of BUCS since 2008 and through the partnership has raised enough money to reach 30,000 more children in the developing world with sport and play programmes that promote education, health and peace.  Thank you to all students and staff who have helped make this happen.
