Right To Play Month
Thank You to all who took part in Right To Play Month
Right To Play Month has been fantastic. We, and thousands of students around the UK, had a blast. There were parties, bike rides, fun runs, skydives, text campaigns, street collections, black tie balls and loads more fun events that raised money for Right To Play during March. We would like to thank everyone who took part in, or organised an event. We are still totting up the total raised but we would like to share with you more information about where the money raised will go, how people raised it, and how you can continue to support our cause through the other equally important 11 months of the year.
The money raised this month, as with every other month, goes to giving children their Right To Play. We believe that we can teach children in developing areas about conflict resolution, health promotion, the importance of community, inclusion, sustainability and education through our sport and play programmes. More information is available here.
Wether you managed to get involved in Right To Play Month or not we would love you to support our cause and learn what it's like to be part of an international NGO. Take a look at how you can change lives, for children in disadvantaged areas of the world, and maybe even your own by becoming a Student Ambassador.

The list of events, organisations and people to thank is endless but we would like to thank you all and all the Universities that supported us from Aberystwyth through the alphabet down to Warwick. Some of the major events during Right To Play Month included:
- A Charity Collection in London
- BUCS developing a facebook application where if you do any type of sport or physical activity you can log your results, donate, and enter a draw to win a whole host of amazing prizes, click here to take part and maybe win a iPod.
- London's biggest fancy dress party, which takes place every month; if you have not yet been - you are missing out. Register as a member and put RTP at the end of your name to donate 50p from your ticket price to Right To Play.
- The BUCS Championships in Sheffield
- A huge ski competition and party in Castleford courtesy of BUSC.
- Staff at BUCS cycling the distance from London to Mali on exercise bikes in their office, which is approximately 2000 miles. You can support them and Right To Play by donating on www.justgiving.com/bucs.
