keeleBUCS

Widening the horizon for sport 1 – 4 September 2009

Keele University hosts the British University and College Sport conference this year, running from Tuesday 1st to Friday 4th September. This event is expected to attract over 300 delegates from across the higher education sports sector and is open to all those involved in university sport.
For the first time, the conference will also play host to the inaugural BUCS Ball, in which nine awards will recognise the contribution of students, staff, volunteers and officials involved in the management and administration of higher education sport and honour the success of students competing in BUCS and international university competitions. One of these awards is the Right To Play Red Ball Award.
This conference creates a balance between fascinating topical workshops and presentations and leisure activities, such as golf, football, spinning, fencing and outdoor archery. It is definitely going to be very interesting and enjoyable for people concerned by, of willing to get involved in, university sport.
