Gloucester Draws Deep for Right To Play
Matt CliftDuring a top of the table clash at the Corinium Stadium in Cirencester between Gloucester City and Farnborough the supporters and players alike helped raise money for Right to Play. In what was a glorious afternoon of sunshine the teams took the field of play whilst supporter Matt Clift generously gave up his time to help Gloucester player and Right to Play ambassador Marc Richards. Richards, a lecturer and student at Hartpury College, aims to raise the profile of Right to Play and as much money as possible in the process.
Supporters were asked to contribute to the charity by purchasing a yellow band in aid of Right to Play. The game finished in a 0-0 draw but the 431 fans which attended the game gave kindly in what was a very successful day in terms of fundraising. Marc would like to express his utmost thanks to all the supporters and backroom staff at Gloucester City and Farnborough that contributed and helped throughout the day.
