Olympian Visits London School
Tim TrainingTim Brabants Speaks to Primary School about Right To Play
Set your goals, and commit to fulfilling them, and you will get there. That was the message delivered to Therfied School in Leatherhead by Olympian and gold medalist Tim Brabants. Tim and Will Bennett (the fearless, spectacled leader of the BUCS partnership) spoke to the children about sport and development and the role of Right To Play in the developing world.
Tim is huge believer in the power of sport as a force for positive change. He spoke to the school about his own experiences and the role that sport has played in his own development. Tim reinforced the point that the opportunities he was given are not available to so many children around the world, and that is way he works to support their Right To Play.
Right To Play is at its heart driven by athletes such as Tim Brabants. Founded by Johan Olav Koss, the winner of a 4 gold medals at the Lillehammer Olympics, we draw inspiration from our athletes ambassadors such as Lance Armstrong, Wayne Gretzky and Frank Lampard. What’s more these athletes are our best spokesmen and bring Right To Play to people all over the world.
We draw inspiration from our athletes, and heed their words, and do as Tim says and visualise and commit to our goals. That goal to make a difference in the lives of as many children as possible, with your help we can get there.
